The wine is clear, deep ruby, with a pink rim, & a few legs. It has a clean but weak, youthful nose. It gives mainly black fruit, with some hints of medicinal & sweet candy aroma. On palate it is not too dry, high in acidity, medium tannins, medium-full bodied, medium-intensity. It gives notes of black fruit, particularly blackcurrants, oak & some chocolate flavours. It has a medium alcohol level & a short length. It is acceptable & is for immediate consumption.
