Lanciano Ristorante - Lunch on 29th May 2006

A brand new restaurant opened in Taipo just for 2 months, tried the lunch there, food were fantastic!!! Most importantly....good price~~

Only drawback is that they don't really allow customers to bring their own wine - which I think is quite ridiculous...I guess customers could negotiate with the manager......

And...long waiting time too...

Other than attending seminars, my prime objective of going to Vinexpo is to learn as much as I could (not to drink as much as I could), particularly some rare & uncommon wines. There're a lot of exhibitors from different countries in Vinexpo, of course, however, there wasn't any Bulgarian wine exhibitors ~ anyways, while I was looking for a Romanian booth, I bumped into this Swiss booth & tasted a few Swiss wines...

Tastings at Vinexpo 24/5/06

I have destined to attend seminars ONLY during the Vinexpo, yet I needed to taste over 40+ wines (I mean seriously with notes jotted down) .....which is quite exhausting....Well, this is how a taster should be trained up & I will for sure work hard on that...

Below are some of my tasted wines these two days & I hopefully can compile all of my tasting notes soon.....In fact, I have tasted mostly Riesling & Riesling & Riesling these two days, which is not my like at all!

Wines shown in this column were the ones I tasted during the "Wines of Germany" dinner event held at One Bar at Exchange Square I tonight, there were around 14 wines for tasting but I was too exhausted to try them all, so here below are those that I have actually tasted, & amongst all I liked this very first picture the most:
