Vintage: 2001
Region: Penedes, Catalunya
Alcohol level: 14%
The wine is clear, showing a very deep ruby colour. It has a purple rim & viscous. A clean & medium-intensity nose. Slightly aged. Dried plums, some wet leaves, earthy aromas. In the mouth it's dry, medium acidity. Medium & well-balanced pleasantly soft tannins. Medium bodied & giving a medium intensity of flavours. Plummy & blackcurrants or blackcherries. The medium-high alcohol heats up the throat but still be able to give a medium-long length of fruit flavours. Grapes: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. It can be consumed now but it could be kept for another 2 to 3 yrs.
