The wine is clear, with an opague ruby colour. It has a pink rim & a few legs. Clean nose. Medium to pronounced-intensity, a slightly aged bouquet. Fruity, mainly blackcurrants, a lot of dried fruit peel (陳皮), mint & pepper. On palate it's dry, crispy, with a medium level of soft tannins. Fruity, mainly plums, with some blackcherries, & a noticeable oak flavour. Little gamey too. A well-balanced wine with a medium alcohol level & fine medium to long length finish. Grapes: Quite a blend: Sangiovese + Cabernet Sauvignon + Merlot + Syrah. Oak aged. It can be consumed now but could be kept for another 3 yrs. A mid-priced Supertuscan showing good quality.
