23/6 - Corked!!! Obviously tainted by cork & no fruit but vinegar on palate.

24/6 Tasting notes:

Appearance ~ Bright & Clear, medium ruby core fading to a pink rim. Noticeable legs.

Nose ~ Clean, medium intensity & slightly aged. Red cherries, red plums, liquorice, earthy & savoury.

Palate ~ Dry, high acidity, low-medium level of ripe tannins. Medium-bodied & medium intensity. Sour cherries, still some red fruit. Spicy & faintly floral. Medium alcohol level but only a short-medium length of bitter finish.

Comments ~ A simple, straight-forward wine with no complexity. Yet still an enjoyable everyday drinking wine, but must drink with food (being so acidic).
