Venue: Karl's Office, Central
Name of Wine: Maison Champy Bourgogne
Pinot Noir
Vintage: 2003

The wine is clear, with a medium ruby colour. It gives a pink (Louis - purple) rim & has a few legs. It has a clean, light-intensity. An aged bouquet, yet still fruity, mainly red fruit (raspberry). Apparently there were some traditional dusty aroma. Some medicinal, mushroom, dried prunes were noticed. On palate it's dry, crispy, with medium level soft tannin, light-medium bodied, medium fruit intensity. Red fruit, mainly redcurrant, & a hint of wet leaves. Medium alcohol, & medium length. Grape varieties: Pinot Noir. It is at peak now, but still can keep for another 1 to 2 yrs. Quality: average.
