Nose ~ Clean, medium-intensity, slightly aged bouquet. Dusty, earthy with red fruits notes. Very little leather & liquroice.
Palate ~ Dry. Low to medium acidity. Medium-bodied & medium intensity. A medium level of silky soft tannins. Blackcurrant, dusty & earthy. Wild mushroom, animal (wet wool), some oak. Medium alcohol & medium length of complex finish. Drink now but could be kept for another 5 to 7 years for further flavours integration. Animal & earthy character makes it a food-friendly companion with many mushroom based dishes.
